A difficult economy and a fluctuating industry makes a career in the oil & gas industry compeitive and demanding. Many people who don't have background education and experience in the industry find it impossible to succeed. Zedi has designed a way for Aboriginal community members to further develop their skills and education in the oil & gas industry through Zedi EAGLE.
Zedi has partnered with the Northern Lights Energy College, NENAS (North East Native Advancing Society) and Treaty 8 Tribal Association to place qualified members of the Aboriginal community into meaningful positions in the energy industry. This is an 18 week, on-going training program being offered to interested applicants of "Oil & Gas Field Operations".
Aboriginal community trained members are now benefitting from Zedi EAGLE (Enhanced Aboriginal Growth Learning Energy) which provides sustainable employment opportunities in the energy industry. From this, a group of EAGLE students have successfully completed the first course and are currently being integrated into the workforce.
