Keith was appointed Zedi's Chairman of the Board on November 1, 2006. Prior to his appointment he served as President and CEO. Keith has almost 20 years of experience in the oil and gas business as an executive, a financial and business advisor and as a partner in the oil and gas department of a major Calgary law firm.

Martin has been a Zedi Board member since September 2000. He is a senior partner in the Corporate/Commercial Department of Bennett Jones, LLP and is acknowledged as a leading expert in mergers and acquisitions. Martin's diverse corporate experience assists in guiding the executive through its strategy and business decisions.

Pierre B. Lebel

Pierre has been a Zedi Board member since March 2001. As Chairman of Imperial Metal Corporation, his experience in managing public companies and transitioning an organization to an operating company is vital to Zedi management.
- Transitioned Imperial Metals from a partnership management company to a mine development and operating company
- Oversaw the financing, construction, and development of a 21,000 tpd open pit copper-gold mine completed in 1997 for $115 Million, under budget and ahead of schedule
- Successfully integrated personnel and assets in mergers with Bethlehem Resources Ltd. and Princeton Mining Corporation
- Recipient of 1998 E.A. Scholz Medal for outstanding contribution to mine development in British Columbia

Alan has been a Zedi Board member since September 2000. Alan is President and CEO of Genome BC, a Vancouver-based organization established to help position British Columbia and Canada as a world leader in selected areas of genomics research and commercial development. Alan brings experience from various corporate and government related positions to provide a broadly based perspective to Zedi on the high tech sector in Canada.

Daryl H. Gilbert P. Eng.

Daryl is the newest member of the Zedi Board bringing over 30 years of petroleum engineering and related regulatory experience. Daryl is best known in the industry for his work as an independent consultant in reserves evaluation through his work at Gilbert Laustsen Jung Associates Ltd. from 1979 to 2005. The firm provided professional services to the Canadian and international oil and gas industry including detailed reservoir and economic analyses, project and corporate evaluations, fair market value appraisals, merger and acquisition advice and expert witness testimony. Daryl's experience in reservoir analysis and reserves estimations will be very helpful for Zedi in setting a course towards creating business intelligence from the production data they collect for their customers.
- Graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering
- Joined the Alberta Energy Resources Conservation Board where he received his training in Petroleum Engineering and related regulatory processes
- In 1976 he joined Great Northern Oil Ltd. where he managed various oil and gas exploitation projects
- Entered the field of independent consulting in 1979 when he joined the predecessor oil and gas engineering and geological firm which became Gilbert Laustsen Jung Associates Ltd.
- Principal officer of Gilbert Laustsen Jung Associates Ltd. in 1988 and was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer in 1994 and served in both capacities until his retirement in early 2005
- Daryl is currently an independent investor in the oil and gas sector and serves as a Director for a number of public companies including AltaGas Income Trust, Canetic Resources Trust, Kereco Energy Ltd. and Chamaelo Exploration Ltd.
- Daryl is a member of the Association of Petroleum Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta, the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and the Society of Petroleum Evaluation Engineers
Doug Marlin

Doug Marlin joined Zedi's Board in September 2000. He is President of Marlin Ventures Inc., a private consulting firm in Calgary and former President of JDA Software Canada, which is now a part of JDA Software Group Inc., a business solutions company listed on NASDAQ. Doug is a Director of JDA Software Group, Inc., and a Director of AeroMechanical Services (TVX, AMA) and Firetrace Systems LLP (private), both technology companies. His vast experience in software development and the high tech industry has contributed to the development and ongoing implementation of Zedi's strategic plan.
- Moved from Vice President to President and majority owner of JDA Software Canada Inc. where he was instrumental in helping the company achieve 16 years of increased profits

Matthew Heffernan

Matthew joined the Zedi Board of Directors in November 2002 and replaced Keith Smith in November 2006 as President and CEO of Zedi. Matt's breadth of executive management experience in technology, sales, and business development will help Zedi reach financial targets while it evolves as a marketing and sales driven company.
- Held VP of Alberta positions at Telus in their Enterprise Solutions and Business Solutions divisions, before moving to British Columbia to take responsibility for a combined team of Client and Wireless Business Solutions, their largest financial portfolio
- Formed and grew his company, Outrider Technologies Inc. (1999—2001) specializing in niche market solutions in the international defense, government and energy sectors delivering field automation, secure communications and logistics support
- Drove over $12M in annual business for EXOCOM, a consulting and engineering firm, as Vice President Western North America, after opening their western North American office in Calgary; building on previous successes as Vice President of the network engineering, systems and sales divisions. (1986—2000)
