Zedi has an opportunity for a Field Services Supervisor in our Midland, Texas, location. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership skills; minimum 5 years’ experience working with installation and calibration of meter stations - electronic, dry flow and liquid meters; be in or open to relocation to Midland, Texas; as well as a work ethic that aligns with our Core Values –

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the supervision and coordination of a team of Field Services Technicians
  • Installation and calibration of meter stations - electronic, dry flow and liquid meters
  • Provide leadership to all client and operational tasks
  • Provides guidance, instruction, direction to each work assignment
  • Meet with potential customers to acquire additional business
  • Build relationships with our existing customers and them of updated concerning our products and services
  • Communicate regularly with General Manager regarding customers’ concerns and service issues
  • Motivate the team to work efficiently to meet client and Zedi needs.
  • Provide training and guidance to technicians as needed
  • Be zealous in the proper completion of work tickets, test reports and all other required documentation
  • Develop and deploy efficient methods for competition of all scheduled and assigned work to technicians
  • Responsible for the accurate recording and tracking of all inventory
  • Lead team in development of customer relationships that will improve retention and business development growth
  • Capable of directing technicians in proper Safety Practices (PPE)
  • Schedule and facilitate monthly safety meeting and training sessions
  • Monthly inspection of company vehicles (tools in order, inventory and truck presentable)

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Typically has a high school education or general education degree (GED) with a solid understanding of industry, company, and customer principles
  • Minimum 5+ years in industry related experience
  • Proficient with a personal computer and common programs
  • Proficient verbal and written skills to effectively communicate to customers and management
  • Must be qualified to install, configure, calibrate and troubleshoot various makes and models of electronic flow computers and dry flow meters
  • Ability to write legible, and speak effectively with customers and management
  • Knowledge of gas sample procedures, liquid measurement and various types of measurement equipment
  • Organization skills, project management skills and strong customer relationship skills
  • Working knowledge of field automation/SCADA and capable of assisting clients with flow volume discrepancies
  • Strong team player, capable of performing in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Able to deal with confidential information with a high degree of diplomacy and good judgment
