Sales Support Specialist

Zedi is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to join the Inside Sales Team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience providing sales support and customer relations management along with a work ethic that aligns with Zedi’s Core Values –

Role and Responsibilities

• Quality coordination of customer (both internal and external) inquiries providing direct support where  applicable and funneling requests through appropriate channels in all lines of business
• Facilitate systematic processes among multiple departments (Sales, Solutions Engineering, Project Management, Customer Service Centers) to prepare and distribute customer quotes and orders in both Canada and the US with strict adherence to company policies and procedures
• Prioritize workload with consideration to customer strategy, price tag, and timeline
• Record workflow/checklist stages in Salesforce
• Maintain thorough understanding of items in each inbox on an ongoing basis (and step in as needed)
• Approve and Sign off on Canadian Hardware invoices (prior to posting)
• Assist in resolution of customer invoice disputes
• Maintain accuracy within customer databases including details such as quotes, orders, contracts, delivery expectations, and installations
• Maintain an extensive level of product and services knowledge, as well as operational policies and procedures

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Post-Secondary education is an asset
• 3+ years’ experience in sales/support and customer relations 
• Demonstrated client relationship management experience 
• Solid product knowledge with attention to detail, and strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Superior organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively and efficiently 
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interact at all levels with customers, vendors and internal Zedi departments 
• Ability to use industry knowledge to develop service initiatives and enhance our competitive advantage 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point, and basic understanding of computerized databases 
• Working knowledge of Information Technology systems and processes 
• Understanding of maintenance, documentation and service contracting
