CHALLENGE

Handling data during mergers and acquisitions is never easy; it’s why you should always consider a solution that helps streamline the process for a smooth data transfer from one company system to the next.

While in the process of acquiring new assets, the customer was looking for a reliable and low-cost solution to bring new production data into Emerson’s Zedi Platform. As a current Zedi Platform customers they understood the distinct value the cloud-based platform presents and offers in stronger return.

The customer required this project to be completed promptly and deliver a well-organized migration. Already a preexisting customer, Emerson was quickly trusted to take on the challenge of merging all the data and help meet project objectives.

SOLUTION

By prioritizing the customer’s needs, Emerson was able to analyze the best process for execution and to promptly and completely integrate newly acquired assets into Emerson Zedi software solutions.

All high priority wells and meters were quickly set-up in Emerson’s Zedi Access and Zedi Vital software. Also recommended was to include the Zedi Roughneck software. Zedi Roughneck offers fixed asset management, health, safety, and environment data, with several unique modules to improve efficiencies in different operational areas.

Turnaround on the project was completed within a month, meeting all deadlines. The company can now continue to keep operating costs within budget and maximize their return on the newly acquired investment.

Emerson was able to provide clean and efficient data for the customer to access quickly from anywhere at any time and assist in making this merger smooth, easy and quickly profitable.
