I think it's safe to safe that many of us have experienced different times in our lives that we knew we didn't have all the information; times when we simply knew there was more to the story, or something missing that we should know in order to make an informed decision. Some people call it intuition, others say it's a 'hunch' - call it whatever you like, but either way having that feeling is certainly frustrating at best; potentially even life-threatening at worst.
When it comes to your operations, I hope you don't get that feeling very often - But if you do then we can help.
Sure, there are certain things you can’t learn from Emerson’s Zedi IIoT platform—like what you should name your new puppy, or whether you’ll get that promotion or not. But you can learn things about your production data, your operations and your equipment that could help you get that promotion.
Total side note; I am more than happy to send you potential puppy names!
To help you get considered for that promotion you just need the key—the one that opens the door to clear vision of what’s happening, what’s been happening, and how you can make the right changes to make things better to increase production and safety, save costs, boost profits and drive long-term company sustainability.
Our cloud-native, IIoT platform is that key. It opens the door to vivid data trending, either through tried and true default reports included in the program, or through your own design.
For example: Every unconventional well has a decline curve, sure, but how fast? How much? Historical production data, and how it trends, can tell you if it’s time to replace or repair a pump, refrac, or shut in. Making the right decisions can increase production, reduce costs or tell you when to shut the well in and move on.
Seeing those trends lets you fix a small issue before it becomes big—and costly.
You can also manage who sees the data. Different levels and different departments can be assigned appropriate authorized access to only the data that is relevant to their roles and departments. Give higher management authority to adjust, other levels only authority to report - we make it easier for your people to get only the data they need so they aren't getting tripped up by 'too much' data that really doesn't mean anything to them.
Zedi Go, our mobile app, gives access from the field, the airport or the parking lot. It lets people recognize and solve issues, then get on with business or life—or both from anywhere, anytime.
Need your pump or compressor provider to help analyze an issue? You can allow selected third parties authorized access to the just data they need. This can speed diagnosis—does the pump need service, has the flow dropped off so you can save power costs by downsizing—or make other decisions.
Occasionally there are still surprises, even with deep data management. For those times, you can manage the alarms—more specifically you can manage what data will trigger the alarm, who the recipients should be for select alarm thresholds and when it should get escalated. Alarms not only tell you what’s happening and where, it can inform what tools and parts need to get their fast —and which expert you need to send there that can solve the issue the fastest.
